	<title>Eliminate Credit Card Debt</title>
	<description>
Carving out a debt-free future
No matter how much credit card debt you have now, there are ways that you can diminish and eventually eliminate credit card debt for good. But, no one is going to come knocking at your door asking if you need help. Oh, no. You are going to have to get out there and find that help for yourself. The good news is that it is easier than ever to eliminate credit card debt and get on with your life.

If you need to eliminate credit card debt, then you know that it can start to affect so many other aspects of your life. Being in debt can cause a lot of anxiety and can cause one to loose some sleep. Many divorces are even blamed on the fact that the couples' credit card was just too much to deal with. And the longer we wait to do something about it, the worse it becomes and the more money we end up paying in interest that can grow exponentially in a very short time. If you are having trouble paying even the minimum balances, then you may want to think about getting in touch with a credit counselor.

They help you eliminate credit card debt by first negotiating with the credit card companies and bringing down some of those balances, sometimes by as much as 60%. You can then consolidate credit card debt and work with the counselor to put together a payment plan that you can actually afford to pay off. Working with a counselor can cut the time that it would take you to pay off the debt in a much shorter amount of time.
